Privacy policy

Quinto Xendero is a brand operated by Quinto Xendero Experiences LLC, a limited liability company organized in New Mexico, United States ("we," "us," "Quinto Xendero"). This policy explains what data we collect, why we use it, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and what rights you have over it. We wrote it to be read, not just signed away.

It applies to quintoshop.com, quintoxendero.com, and the emails we send you.

1. What you share with us — and the only use we make of it

Birth data (birth date, time, and place). This is the heart of our studies and of the returns membership, and it deserves its own section:

We use it exclusively to calculate your astronumerology study and, if you're a member, your lunar returns.
We never sell it, never share it with third parties for advertising, and never include it in tracking pixels, analytics tools, or URLs.
It is transmitted encrypted and stored in our database with access restricted to the personnel who operate the calculation.
For baby studies, the baby's data is provided by their parent or legal guardian, and receives the same protection as any birth data (see also "Children and baby studies," below).

Contact and order data. Name, email and, if you share it, phone number and address. We use it to deliver what you purchased, provide support, meet tax and accounting obligations, and — only if you opted in — send you marketing emails, which you can leave with one click at any time.

Payment data. Processed by Shopify Payments (or PayPal, where available). We never see or store full card numbers; we only receive payment confirmation.

Browsing data. See "Cookies and similar technologies," below.

2. Legal bases for processing

We process your data because: (a) it's necessary to fulfill the purchase or membership contract you agreed to, (b) you expressly authorized it (marketing, non-essential cookies), or (c) it's our legal obligation (tax records, membership consent evidence). We never process birth data on any basis other than (a).

3. Cookies and similar technologies

We use the following tools on our store. None of them receive your birth data.

You can decline non-essential cookies in the cookie notice on your first visit, or block them from your browser settings. If we add new tools (for example, for advertising on Google or TikTok), we'll update this table before turning them on.

4. Who we share data with (service providers)

We share data only with providers who process it on our behalf and under confidentiality agreements, never for their own purposes:

Shopify — store, checkout, and payments.
Resend — service emails (confirmations, study delivery).
Klaviyo — marketing emails (only if you opted in).
Meta / Microsoft — the measurement tools described above.
Infrastructure providers (compute and storage) that host our platform.

We do not sell your data to anyone, under any circumstances.

5. How long we keep it

Generated PDFs are stored temporarily and deleted automatically; your permanent download link regenerates them on demand from your order.
Order data is kept as long as required by law (accounting and tax purposes).
Membership data (including birth data) is kept while your membership is active, and deleted if you cancel and request it.
Consent and cancellation-request records are kept for a minimum of 3 years, as a legal obligation — if you request deletion of your personal data, these records are anonymized rather than deleted, retaining only what the legal obligation requires.

6. Your rights (California CCPA/CPRA and equivalents)

Regardless of what state you live in, we offer you the same rights:

Know what data we have about you and where it came from.
Correct inaccurate data.
Delete your data (with the legal exception of consent records, which are anonymized).
Portability: request a copy of your data in a readable format.
Non-discrimination: you won't get worse pricing or service for exercising these rights.

To exercise any of them, email contacto@quintoxendero.com from the address you purchased with, stating which right you'd like to exercise. We respond within the legal deadlines (45 days maximum, with a possible 45-day extension for complex requests). We may ask you to verify your identity before processing the request.

"Do Not Sell or Share": we do not sell or share personal information within the meaning of California law — there's nothing to opt out of, and this is our standing commitment, not just for today. You can register your preference on our Your Privacy Choices page, or by emailing contacto@quintoxendero.com with the subject "Do Not Sell or Share."

If you have a complaint we haven't resolved to your satisfaction, you may contact your state's Attorney General's office (in California, the California Privacy Protection Agency).

7. Children and baby studies

Our products are for adults; we do not target advertising to minors or collect data directly from them (COPPA compliance). Baby studies are ordered and provided exclusively by a responsible adult (parent or legal guardian), who represents they have the authority to share the minor's data for this specific, limited purpose. We do not use that data for anything other than calculating the study ordered.

8. Security

We use encryption in transit (HTTPS) for all communication with our site, access controls on our database, and automatic deletion of delivered PDFs. No system is 100% foolproof; if an incident occurred that compromised your data, we would notify you as required by applicable law.

9. International transfers

We currently operate and store data in the United States. If you purchase from outside the U.S., your data is transferred to and processed in the United States under the standards described in this policy.

10. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update the date above and, if the change is material to how we handle your data, we'll notify you by email before it takes effect.
